Problem

How many children did Adonikam have?

Ezra 2:13 - The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
Ezra 8:13 - And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.
Nehemiah 7:18 - The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.

These references seem to not be numerically correct.

Ezrah gives the number of Adonikam`s children that left Babylon, Nehemiah reckons those living in Judea many years later. Those figures could never match since it`s utterly impossible population remaains static (nobody dies, nobody is born)
