Rapture and the Seventh Trumpet
Revelation 11:15 - And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
People who preach the rapture use verses 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16 as the main verses to justify Christ ascending from heaven and not to earth,
but everyone always skates on the issue about the last trump in these verses. I just finished studing Revelation, and the last trumpets in my Bible are Revelation 10:7 and 11:15. This is when the 7th angel sounds the 7th and last trumpet. The pretrib rapture crowd have never explained this. How can we be raptured pretrib when the final trump is after the Revelation?
I just dont understand how they can keep pumping pretrib. Any thoughts? Thanks.

This is Bro. Chris Davidson. I would like to share what I believe will answer your question. The Church drops from the narrative in Revelation 4:1, "After this I looked, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter". The Church is not mentioned again until the Second Coming of Christ in Revelation 19. Another passage is 1st Thessalonians 5:9, "For God hath not appointed us unto wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ". The Church as the Bride of Christ is presented in the narrative in Revelation 19:7-8, states that "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife (i.e. the Church) hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the linen is the righteousness of saints." If the Church had endured the Tribulation period, she would be marred but she is presented in white which symbolizes her purity. This is also presented in Eph. 5:27 " That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and without blemish". Thus following the test of truth is Deut. 17:6, " At the mouth of two witnesses or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death he be put to death; but at the mouth of of one witness he shall not be put to death". A Church of God Preacher in Cleveland named Perry Stone is now advocating the split Rapture theory. He states that the spiritual believers will be raptured at first, then all the carnal believers will be raptured at the mid-point of the Tribulation. But the Bride would be marred if that was the case. Some Bible teachers theorize that 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 states, " Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition:" which they say the falling away is the rapture. I am still studying that interpretation. I must conclude that based upon the two or three witnesses, that the matter of the pre-tribulation of the Church is a truth we must hold fast and encourage and challenge the Saints to greater service for the Lord. The 7th trumpet of Revelation 11:15 represents the establishment of the millennial kingdom.
The last trumpet of I Corinthians 15:52 is not the last trumpet of Revelation 11:15. It is the last trumpet of 1 Thessalonians 4:16. If you compare all three verses in their Chapters in context, it is clear they are not the same.
