Can a pastor be married more than once?

1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Can a man pastor who has been married more than once? If so, what does this verse mean (without manipulating it to your view). If not, what about a pastor's wife who has died, and he re-married? Just because a man is "loosed" from a marriage and is free to re-marry, is he also allowed to be a pastor?
