2 Sam. 24 says that David paid "fifty shekels of silver", but 1 Chron. 21 says that David gave "six hundred shekels of gold by weight". How much did David pay?

    1 Chronicles 21:25 So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.

    2 Samuel 24 provides the price that David paid for the oxen and the threshingfloor while 1 Chronicles 21 gives the price that David paid for the entire place.
