| Display: [references|view all] | | | Problem | Outcome Of Crucified Criminals At first, I thought there was a contradiction between Matthew and Mark's writings of the 2 criminals compared with Lukes writing.
In Matthew and Mark it is said that both the men ridicule Jesus. But in Luke, one man turns to Christ for forgiveness.
Is there a contradiction here?
I don't think so! Is it possible that the man who turned to Christ, at first ridiculed Jesus, then later repented. So Matthew and Mark give the account that they both ridiculed, then Luke gives the account that one man turns to Christ.

An example is the details of the resurrection in the four Gospels. There are no alleged contradictions. So you have answered your own question.
