Ahimelech or Abiathar?
Samuel calls the priest Ahimelech, Mark refers to him as Abiathar. How do I reconcile? Thanks for your help. I am bogged down in a site with some very mean-spirited skeptics and I sure appreciate your help.

Not a problem. Abiathar was the high priest and one of his sons, Ahimelech, was one of the several priests serving under him. Jesus said "at the time of Abiathar the high priest", which identifies the correct time period under which Ahimelech served. 1 Samuel identifies which particular priest David spoke to.
