The premise would be this:
Well if Jesus Christ was God then the following scripture disproves it!!
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
We need to remember that the God of the Bible is a trinity:
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Also when we see John 1:18, we need to remember WHICH part of the Godhead the scripture is talking about.
When John 1:18 is being referenced, it stands to reason that Jesus is not being cited here but the Father:
Exodus 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
Yet when Jesus Christ came he said:
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
That's not to say that the Father was the thief but one could look upon Jesus Christ's face who is God in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16/Hebrews 1:8) and live without the threat of dying.
One more example of the proprietary attributes of each member of the trinity can be seen in the following:
Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
