Acts 25 Scofield

25:1 Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.

“But after”

But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and desiring to gain favour with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.

25:6 And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.

“more than ten”

Or, as some copies read, no more than eight or ten days.

25:13 And after certain days king Agrippa and Bernice came unto Caesarea to salute Festus.

“Agrippa”

This (Acts 5:13) was Herod Agrippa II., son of the Herod Agrippa I. of Acts 12:1, and great-grandson of Herod the Great. (See Scofield "Matt 2:1").

Bernice, or Berenice, was the sister of Herod Agrippa II. Acts 5:13.
