The Years

- “In the twelfth month of this year, Moses, going up out of the plain of Moab”
- Ended 1443 BC
- “and having lived 110. years (which was the age of Joseph, mentioned in the end of Genesis) he there died”
He led Israel from the death of Moses (Joshua 1:1-2), and died an hundred and ten years old (Joshua 24:29). He is not called a judge.
Dated by Archbishop James Ussher’s Annals of the World (1658), quoted as printed, whose dates were printed in the margins of King James Bibles for two centuries.
