The Seven Churches
Revelation 1–3
John, on the isle of Patmos, writes to the seven churches of Asia. Numbers follow the order of the letters, a circuit a messenger could ride from Ephesus.
Roman provinces about AD 60, several of which Acts names (Acts 16:6; 18:12; 23:34). Borders are approximate; client kingdoms such as Nabataea are left blank.
