Problem

For or Against?

Matthew 12:30 - He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Mark 9:40 - For he that is not against us is on our part.
Luke 9:50 - And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

In Matthew, the default position is "against" while in Mark and Luke the default position is "for". What is the solution?

This is simple to me. You are either for or against. Not both. Not in the middle.

There is no gray area. I have thought about this one for years because it seems to emphasize the binary nature of eternal fate.
